Last call for MISSION applications – the business support programme for purpose-led start-ups in Sussex,

MISSION, the incubator programme for early-stage start-ups with purpose, extends its application deadline to 3 May 2022.

Designed by Brighton’s independent flexible workspace provider, Projects, the programme will offer group masterclasses and one-to-one coaching across all core business themes from brand identity and business strategy, to raising investment.

Those selected to receive funding for the six-month-long incubator will also be provided with business mentoring, workspace membership, event hosting facilities and community building opportunities.

Set to support 10 entrepreneurs make a lasting, positive impact on the environment and society, the first MISSION programme is due to start in late June 2022, with applications closing on 3 May 2022.

Mila Brazzi, Creative Director at Projects, said: “Business should be a force for good. The climate emergency and social inequality are profound issues that require immediate and powerful action. In just one week, the UK’s full-time workforce jointly works the equivalent of 8 million days – imagine the potential for change if business collectively considered people and the planet, in line with profits.

“MISSION is all about supporting like-minded people with their early-stage businesses, giving them the best chance to make maximum impact. We’re excited to be working on this in partnership with other good businesses in the city, strengthening and uniting Brighton’s purpose-driven start-up ecosystem.”

Applications are open to mission-led, registered businesses founded within the last three years and with 10 employees or fewer. For more information and to apply, visit www.projectsclub.co.uk/mission.
