Ballet returns to the Congress Theatre stage this autumn with three stunning performances by the acclaimed Imperial Classical Ballet who celebrate 20 years of exquisite dance:  Giselle (9 October,7.30pm), Swan Lake (10 October, 2.30pm and 7.30pm) and The Nutcracker (11 October, 4pm).
This is important year for Imperial Classical Ballet as they celebrate 20 years of touring classical art to audiences nationwide, bringing timeless masterpieces to life with international artists and full live orchestras. This anniversary season is a tribute to that journey — and to the audiences who have made it possible.
Featuring three iconic productions, the delightfully romantic ballet of love, betrayal, and forgiveness Giselle, The Nutcracker, a magical classic, filled with wonder, music and family tradition, it’s the perfect way to create some early festive feelings of excitement for all ages. And, of course, the iconic Swan Lake — a timeless masterpiece of love, deception, and dramatic beauty.
All productions are performed with a full live orchestra, featuring internationally acclaimed dancers, lavish costumes, and breathtaking staging.
