May 2026 — Brighton’s Biggest Month

May is when Brighton fully ignites. Brighton Festival, Brighton Fringe, The Great Escape, Foodies Festival and the Artists Open Houses all run simultaneously — making May 2026 one of the richest cultural months in the city’s history.

The 60th edition of England’s largest curated multi-arts festival. Over 100 events featuring theatre, dance, music, literature, visual art and debate.
