Based in Paris, Musique & Toile (www.musique-et-toile.fr) is proud to present…-The CINE-TRIO. They are composed of 3 musicians (piano, violin, oboe) who have performed more than 850 film music concerts over the last 20 years, with more than 500 titles specifically arranged for the three instruments will come to Brighton Fringe For the First time
During the Festival, the CINE-TRIO will perform 6 film music concerts at Wagner Hall, offering 5 different programs.
Each theme concert (60 to 90’ long, depending on the chosen program) is enhanced with visual excerpts from films (no videos but over 250 to 300 photos shown on a big screen for each concert).
The CINE-TRIO is the fruit of a friendship between three musicians who graduated the same year from the « Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris ».
Their common passion for film music inspired them to create the trio when they were still students.
With flamboyantly lyrical passages or intimate melodies, the trio invites music lovers on a journey to the heart of the 7th Art. It is also an excellent way to introduce people to classical music!
