Flamenco Festival London 2026 arrives this month — and it is one of the most significant dance events on the London cultural calendar this summer.
Now in its 21st year, the festival runs from Tuesday 16 to Monday 29 June 2026 across Sadler’s Wells Theatre and the Lilian Baylis Studio in Islington, and Sadler’s Wells East in Stratford — bringing 10 productions, five UK premieres and some of the most celebrated names in flamenco to London audiences.

Flamenco Festival London 2026 — The Programme
Gala Flamenca — Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June The centrepiece of the festival, and the performance not to miss. This year’s Gala unites four internationally recognised flamenco artists on one stage:
- Eva Yerbabuena — winner of the 2025 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance, renowned for her deeply emotional interpretations of the soleá
- Manuel Liñán — known for his subversive, Olivier-nominated works including ¡VIVA! and Muerta de Amor
- El Farru — from the legendary Farruco family, who has collaborated with Beyoncé, Björk and Marc Anthony
- Juan Tomás de la Molía — rising star following his unforgettable solo in last year’s festival
UnYdos — Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June Compañía de Danza Jesús Carmona opens the festival with flamenco in its purest form — alegrías, taranto and the emotional soleá in an intimate performance with live guitar and singer.
Creaviva — Thursday 18 June (UK Premiere) Compañía Rafaela Carrasco reimagines the nine ancient Greek muses through flamenco dance, live music and poetry. An ode to femininity and what it means to be an artist today.
Calentamiento — Wednesday 24 June (UK Premiere) Rocío Molina — winner of the 2022 Venice Biennale Silver Lion — returns with a raw, intimate exploration of the body as it prepares, performed with a drum kit and metal chairs.
Night of the Guitar — Thursday 25 June (UK Premiere) A tribute to legendary guitarist Sabicas, featuring guitarists Gerardo Núñez, Antonio Rey and Álvaro Martinete, with dancer Olga Pericet paying homage to Carmen Amaya.
Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía — Tierra Bendita — Friday 26 and Saturday 27 June An epic performance from the historical home of flamenco — 15 dancers, vocalists, guitarists and a percussionist exploring the landscapes and history of Andalucía.
MAGNIFICAT — Sunday 28 June (UK Premiere) María Moreno leads an ensemble in a flamenco interpretation of the biblical story of the Visitation at Sadler’s Wells East.
Rayuela — Monday 29 June (UK Premiere) Marco Flores marks 25 years of his contributions to flamenco in a performance blending contemporary dance, tap and flamenco with brothers David and Alfredo Lagos.
