Hotel du Vin Brighton has announced a summer-long partnership with East Sussex’s Henners Vineyard, kicking off with a launch event in the hotel’s courtyard on Wednesday 24 June, from 6pm to 9pm.

The launch coincides with English Wine Week (20–28 June), the annual celebration bringing together vineyards, merchants and hospitality venues from across the country to champion the best of English wine.

The Launch Event

Set in Hotel du Vin’s elegant alfresco courtyard, the evening will showcase a selection of Henners’ finest wines alongside dishes from Bistro du Vin, with entertainment laid on for a relaxed summer evening. The partnership then continues throughout July, August and September.

Why Henners

Henners Vineyard sits in the East Sussex countryside near Herstmonceux, overlooking the Pevensey Levels just five miles from the coast. The vineyard produces both sparkling and still wines — from its non-vintage Fizz to its Blanc de Blancs — known for their elegance and sense of place.

Richard Lockstone, Group Head of Wine at Hotel du Vin, said the relationship goes back years:

“We have worked with Henners across the Hotel du Vin and Malmaison portfolio for many years, and they are our principal English wine partner. With their winery based in Herstmonceux, near Eastbourne, Brighton felt like a natural place to bring this collaboration to life. It gives us a wonderful opportunity to highlight a broader range of their wines alongside our Bistro du Vin dishes, all within the stunning courtyard at Hotel du Vin Brighton. It’s a combination that we believe will be a real highlight of the summer.”

Tom Whiteley, Commercial Director at Henners Vineyard, echoed the sentiment:

“Hotel du Vin Brighton and Henners share a similar outlook, which is that exceptional wine and hospitality should feel natural and unpretentious. Their hotel in Brighton is a fantastic setting and a place where our wines truly feel at home. We’re proud to bring a taste of East Sussex into the heart of the city and look forward to welcoming guests to experience it for themselves.”
