The producers of the hit Broadway and West End show Legally Blonde The Musical are searching the UK and Ireland for the perfect pooch to star in their show. The four legged star will play the role of Rufus and will feature in the Brighton leg of the national tour, which runs from Monday 11th – Saturday 16th of June.
The musical features two canine role, Rufus, a British Bulldog, and Bruiser, a chihuahua. The chihuahua is set to tour with the cast but the producers have decided to find a new pup to play Rufus in each town. If you have a British bulldog that has what it takes to be a star, bring them along to the auditions at the Theatre Royal.
Legally blonde the Musical is a feel good, all singing, all dancing romantic comedy with a positive feminist message. Elle Woods, after being dumped by her boyfriend, decides to ditch sorority life and take a trip to Harvard to study law instead. She proceeds to demolishes any stereotypes surrounding the blonde, California girl in an uplifting tale of self love.
