One of the most famous families in pop music history is coming to Brighton. The Jacksons will play the Brighton Centre on Wednesday 24 March 2027, bringing more than five decades of hits to the seafront. By Nick Staunton
Tickets start at £77.50 and go on sale on Friday 30 October 2026 at 9am from www.brightoncentre.co.uk. The show is promoted by Ernest Promotions.
From Motown to the World
The Jacksons began life as the Jackson 5, the group of brothers from Gary, Indiana, who signed to Motown in the late 1960s and became an overnight sensation. Their first four singles, I Want You Back, ABC, The Love You Save and I’ll Be There, all went to number one in the US.
After leaving Motown and renaming themselves the Jacksons, they had a second wave of success with disco and funk classics including Blame It on the Boogie, Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground) and Can You Feel It. In 1977, Show You the Way to Go gave them a UK number one. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
What to Expect
Fans can expect a night of non-stop hits spanning the group’s entire career, from the bubblegum soul of the Motown years to the dancefloor anthems that defined the disco era. It’s a show for anyone who grew up with these songs, and for a new generation discovering them for the first time.
With tickets expected to sell quickly, fans are advised to be ready when sales open on Friday morning.
Brighton Local
The Brighton Centre’s 2027 calendar is shaping up to be one of its strongest in years. The Jacksons join a busy line-up of music coming to the city, including Kula Shaker at Brighton Dome and Pete Tong opening On The Beach 2027. Before then, The Cure’s founding drummer Lol Tolhurst plays The Quarters this Wednesday.
