BRIGHTON, 7 May 2026 — The Brighton Centre has today announced that Björn Again, the world’s longest-running and most successful ABBA tribute act, will return to the venue on Friday 12 March 2027, bringing more than three decades of stadium-filling Swedish pop nostalgia back to the Sussex coast.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 8 May 2026, priced from £30.50, available through brightoncentre.co.uk. The show is promoted by Cuffe & Taylor, one of the UK’s leading live music promoters and the company behind some of the country’s biggest concert and festival announcements.
Björn Again — formed in Melbourne in 1988 and authorised by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus themselves — has performed more than 7,000 shows in 124 countries since its debut, and has been credited by Andersson and Ulvaeus with helping to drive the worldwide ABBA revival of the 1990s. The act has played alongside everyone from Nirvana and Metallica at the Reading Festival to Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee. It remains the benchmark for ABBA tribute performance globally.
The 2027 Brighton show promises a full-length live performance of the ABBA back catalogue — Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Take a Chance on Me, The Winner Takes It All, Money Money Money — performed in the original 1970s-era costumes, choreography and Swedish-accented humour that have become the act’s signature.
The Brighton Centre has hosted ABBA-related events stretching back to 1974, when the original ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest at the venue with Waterloo — the performance that launched the band’s global career. The 2027 Björn Again show falls in the same room where ABBA themselves first met an international audience, giving the night an additional layer of resonance for Brighton audiences.
