Ever thought of writing a book or think you have a novel in you? Author, Miles Hudson will show you how the germ of an idea can develop into a series of novels, how a writer can make a living, and discover some of the pitfalls, perils and, most importantly, joys of writing and seeing your manuscript published and on bookshop shelves.
Miles, whose most recently published novel is titled ‘The Times of Malthus,’ will give book lovers a behind-the-scenes background to his latest book set in and around Brighton. Readers will be treated to a host of tales about life as a professional writer, and the author will lead them on a journey into the near future. Locals will recognise many of the places in his fifth novel, and will get to know the two heroines of the story who struggle to succeed and survive in a Brighton that becomes very different from the one they grew up in.
Afternoon Tea with Author Miles Hudson is at the Holiday Inn – Brighton Seafront from 3pm on Sunday 1st October. £5 tickets include refreshments and should be purchased in advance from the Holiday Inn on 01273 828250, or email [email protected]
