Thousands of Brightonians have been signing up to help vulnerable people in their community via the Brighton Covid-19 Mutual Aid group

The Brighton group was formed 2 weeks ago and now has over 16,000 members. There are now multiple smaller offshoot groups for each area across the city, linking vulnerable people up with neighbours who can help them with shopping, collecting prescriptions or other vital supplies, and even walking their dog.

The Group’s founders say they want to “foster solidarity, care and compassion” and show how “Brighton pulls together in the face of adversity”.

You can find information about how to join your local group and how to access help if you need it on the Brighton Mutual Aid website.

Stay home and stay safe.
