In a much-anticipated move, the top charting comedy podcast, Drunk Women Solving Crime is making its Brighton debut at Komedia Brighton on Monday 16th December 2024.

The award-winning format allows hosts and guests to dive into a true crime story, often revealing incredible facts and outlandish characters from history. There’s also the chance for the audience to get involved and reveal a strange criminal story from their own lives.
Drunk Women Solving Crime is hosted by writer-comedians Taylor Glenn and Hannah George, and since becoming a resident of Brighton and Hove in 2020, Glenn has cited this as a homecoming gig for the duo…
“Since relocating to the beautiful city of Brighton four years ago, it’s been an ambition of mine to bring the podcast to the thriving comedy scene here, and Komedia has always been my favourite place to perform in the UK.”
After launching in 2018, Drunk Women Solving Crime has gone from strength to strength, becoming as successful on the stage as it is in the podcast charts, and producer Amanda Redman, is excited for their Christmas show to be held in Brighton, saying …
“Drunk Women Solving Crime is a hugely fun night out whatever time of year, but there’s something extra special about being able to entertain people during the festive season, with past Christmas shows selling out the likes of Leicester Square Theatre and The Lowry in Manchester.”
Host Hannah George agrees – “This feels like a really special occasion, as our last live show on mainland UK was back in June, and this will be the final opportunity to see Drunk Women Solving Crime live before spring 2025, so we are ready for a party!”
Past show guests have included Katherine Ryan, Ricki Lake, London Hughes, Rosie Jones, Jordan Gray, and Shaparak Khorsandi to name only a few, and the evening will comprise of two episode recordings, with guests TBA.
