Friday – Friday I’m In Love @ Coalition

Tonight, Coalition is hosting one of the famous “Friday I’m in Love” club nights. Expect to hear classics from every genre and every decade when DJ Matt Robinson pulls out the best tracks from indie, electro, funk, hip-hop, reggae, 60s, 80s, D&B, dubstep and dance.

Friday – Arcane Discotech Launch Party @ The Grand Central

Brighton’s new disco, Arcane Discotech, will open its doors for the first time tonight bringing you a fresh mix of disco re-edits and disco-influenced house and old-school music. There won’t be R’n’B or grime on the menu tonight, but loads of good-time vibes

Friday – Pure Klass Techno @ Volks

Pure Klass DJ’s are taking over Brighton’s Volks Nightclub for their first event in Brighton this year. They are bringing with them seven full hours of pure techno.

Doors open at 11 pm. Volks Club, 3 The Colonnade, Madeira Drive, BN2 1 Brighton. Entry is £8 before midnight.

Saturday – Brighton Latin Festival @ Hove Park

Are you ready for Bachata, Samba, Merengue, and co? This Saturday, Brighton’s Latin community will organize the city’s first ever Latin Festival featuring performances and workshops held by Brighton-based Latin dancing and music groups, local foods and crafts, and of course, Latin cocktails!

The event runs from 11 am to 7 pm. Hove Park Gardens.

Saturday – Krater Comedy Club @ Komedia

Looking for a night out with lots of laughter? This week’s Krater Comedy Club is starring English Stand-Up comedians Carl Donnelly and Josh Howie, highly demanded comedian Eddy Brimson and Brighton-based comic Stephen Grant.

Saturday & Sunday – Sand Sports Weekend @ Brighton Volleyball Court

Brighton’s Takepart Festival is the perfect opportunity to try out fun sports activities. This weekend is gonna be all about sand sports.  Head down to Brighton Sand Court for free beach tennis, volleyball, soccer, foot volley and sand fitness sessions.

Sunday – Elvis Live Afternoon @ Maggie Mae’s

Sunday afternoon will see the revival of the King when Mark Wright’s ‘Elvis On My Mind’ show is coming to Maggie Mae’s. Other than all of the legend’s big anthems, you can also expect to hear some classics from the GI Blues.

Sunday – Charity Run @ Hove Park

Welsh former sprint and hurdling athlete, Colin Jackson CBEis organising a run to promote men’s health in Hove Park this Sunday, hoping to encourage men and boys from all over to do the run in an effort to raise money for four major charities and the Martlet’s hospice. Participants of the SANLAM Go Dad Run will have the choice between a 5km run and a 10km run around the park premises.

Registration opens at 9 am. Run starts at 10.30 am. Hove Park.
