Some of you may have heard of this campaign which launched in 2012 which encourages local businesses to pay employees a decent hourly rate of £8.45.
This is an amount which allows a person to live rather than just survive. All 340 businesses that have already signed up voluntarily pay their employees this rate.
Some of the people who already do this include; Brighton and Hove City Council, Brighton and Hove Buses, Brighton and Hove NHS Clinical Commission Group, British Airways i360, Infinity Foods, Marlets Care and so many more.
