Brighton charity supporting young adults with learning disabilities awarded multi-year grant from BGF Foundation as part of £650,000 commitment
Brighton-based charity Team Domenica has been named as one of seven organisations to receive a significant multi-year grant from the BGF Foundation – the charitable arm of BGF, the UK and Ireland’s most active growth capital investor.
The funding forms part of the Foundation’s largest commitment to date, with over £650,000 in unrestricted, multi-year grants being awarded to charities working with young people across the UK.
Team Domenica helps young adults with learning disabilities find meaningful employment through a pioneering supported employment model, including work experience in their training café, roastery and partner businesses in the local community.
In addition to funding, Team Domenica will receive tailored pro bono support from BGF staff and networks – including help with HR development, digital systems, and local employer engagement – to further strengthen their capacity and long-term sustainability.

National impact, regional focus
The BGF Foundation was established to support young people across the UK, with a specific focus on organisations that are ready to scale their impact. Its funding approach follows best-practice philanthropy principles, offering flexible, long-term support, alongside business expertise.
Charity partners in this round are based in cities and communities across the country, including Manchester, Cardiff, Oxford, Sheffield, and Brighton – reflecting the local presence of BGF’s regional offices.
