First, it was the middle-finger emjoi, then we had the Kimoji’s (the Kim Kardashian emjois for those confused) but now, we have the Hen & Stag emojis! Red7 are a Brighton based leisure company who specialise in Hen and Stag events. They noticed that the regular emojis were lacking in symbols to represent the average Stag or Hen night, so decided to create their own. The eight symbols consist of the things you tend to see on your average Stag or Hen do such as the classic pink L plate, a man with beer goggles on and er…a man in a mankini. We spoke to Chris of Red7 to find out more.
How did the idea come about?
We noticed no one else had made any stag and hen emojis yet, so we wanted to be the first company to do this.
How long did it take to design and create the emojis?
This has been a three-month project including design, development and research
Are you looking to expand the emoji selection?
Yes definitely as we have seen good pickup already. We have started a petition to get the emojis made on the official apple keyboard.
