A 22-year-old Brighton man has been arrested by police after allegations have been made regarding the sexual assault of three different women.
Two incidents are believed to have taken place in the city in May 2019 and September 2020, with the other having occurred in London in April 2019.
The same man was also previously arrested on suspicion of a different rape in October this year.
He was also subsequently arrested due to being suspected of the possession of both Class A and Class B drugs.
Following a police interview on November 4th, the man was released on conditional police bail based on the above suspected incidents until November 29th.
As part of the conditions of his bail, he will now be required to live outside of the city of Brighton and Hove until the investigation has concluded.
All of the victims involved have been assisted by police, receiving support and guidance from specialty trained officers, and officers from the Brighton Safeguarding Investigations Unit are now continuing enquiries to help understand and establish the exact circumstances that occurred in each of the three cases.
In a statement by police, Detective Inspector Carrie Williams said: “ Any further reports of rape or other sexual offences will also be recorded and thoroughly investigated. You can contact us either online or by calling 101, quoting ‘Operation Brussels’.
