This year, Brighton Pride will begin with The Tigers display team appearing from the skies with a pride flag, to give to the head of the parade.

The men who are from the Princess of Wales Regiment will land at Hove Lawns at 11am to start the weekend of celebrations.

The leader of the group, Corporal Millerick says that this will be a big moment for the group, and praises the LGBT community for the work they have done within the military.

Especially in the army where there can be ‘pressure’ to identify with masculine stereotypes. When speaking to the Argus he mentioned that one of the group members is from the LGBT community.

Brighton Pride takes place from the 4th to the 6th of August. For more information visit brighton-pride.org.
