Maybe you’re not the most avid fan of Britain’s Got Talent, but tonight’s semi-finals might be interesting for you to watch as Brighton-based dance crew TapTastik will compete in tonight’s live show.

Other than TapTastik, there are seven other acts hoping to make it to Sunday’s Grand Final. But for only two of them, this dream will come true. Members of the TapTastik crew have said they were optimistic about their chances.

Lead by choreographer and ex-professional dancer Andrew Woods, Brighton’s tap dance group TapTastik has made its appearance on the BGT audition stage roughly two weeks ago and promptly made it into semi-finals with three yes’s from the jury members. The only no came from Simon Cowell.

Being just a weekly tap group assembling women aged from 21 to 63, TapTastik’s success on the national TV show came quite surprisingly, leaving its members with excitement for tonight’s semi-finals.

BGT semi-finals will be on tonight at 7:30 pm. To support and vote for Brighton’s TapTastik, download the BGT app.
