If you’re feeling down because it’s Monday and you almost got blown over this morning, or if you didn’t get any sleep last night because it sounded like Storm Imogen was trying her hardest to blow your house down, we have something to make you feel one hundred times better on this Monday morning. Bjournal are pleased to announce that there are two big names coming to the Brighton Centre this year.

Ten studio albums, twenty-two years of making music and a member of one of the biggest boybands to come out of the UK, Ronan Keating is touring his tenth studio album in 2016 and he’s coming to Brighton. With forty million album sales with band Boyzone, twenty-two million copies of his nine solo albums as well as fourteen number one singles and an Ivor Novello Award for Picture of You in 1997, it’s safe to say Ronan Keating has done it all. However, his tenth studio album is a whole new chapter for the singer and is his first with new record label Decca. The album, titled Time Of My Life will be released on February 12th and has been called the album of his life. The album contains instantly affecting songs of celebration and emotion, of love and loss and more importantly…honesty. Keating says “this is the music I’ve always wanted to make. This is who I am and it feels absolutely right. To go out with all this new material, and playing guitar, will be so exciting. These songs were written for live performance”. The tour will be in the Autumn but tickets go on sale on the 12th. Ronan Keating will be at the Brighton Centre on Sunday October 2nd.

Scottish pop rock band Deacon Blue is coming to Brighton centre this autumn.

Another huge name heading to the Brighton Centre this Autumn is Scottish pop rock band Deacon Blue. After releasing their debut album, Raintown, in 1987, Deacon Blue went on to have over six million album sales, two UK number one albums and twelve UK Top 40 singles. After their triumphant comeback four years ago, the Glaswegian band have gone from strength to strength, selling out tours in 2012, 2013 and 2014. This year they are making a return to the live stage with some huge shows including two nights at Glasgow’s prestigious Royal Concert Hall and a date at London’s Royal Festival Hall. More importantly, of course, is the date right here at our Brighton Centre. This tour announcement coincides with the 25th Anniversary of their platinum selling album ‘Fellow Hoodlums’ which includes Top 10 hit and live favourite ‘Twist & Shout’ and ‘Your Swaying Arms’. Deacon Blue are playing Brighton on November 20th.

You can buy tickets to these shows at the Brighton Centre website.
