BRIGHTON’S INTERDISCIPLINARY ARTIST NETWORK CELEBRATES THE CITY’S CREATIVE COMMUNITY AT FABRICA GALLERY THIS JULY
Brighton Artists Network is Brighton’s first interdisciplinary artist-led network. The organisation offers Brighton based visual artists, writers, musicians, dancers,theatre-makers and creatives of all disciplines a hub to connect and collaborate including:
-
a monthly bulletin of news, opportunities and wanted/offered ads
-
a comprehensive directory of Brighton based creatives of all disciplines
-
an information service, including information about all the resources, groups and activities the city has to offer for Brighton-based creatives
-
social and networking events
-
a peer-to-peer artist development programme and investment club, providing seed-funding for artists projects
-
a bookable, weekly co-working space
This July they launch their brand new programme of events and activities with a party at Fabrica Gallery – celebrating the city’s artistic community and everything they’ve achieved this year as the city recovers from the effects of the pandemic.
The event is a much awaited yearly summer celebration with some music, courtesy of Platform B’s Solmaz , and drinks amongst Fabrica’s Summer Exhibition: “My Crazy Family Golf” by Lisa Watts & Dad.
Back by popular demand, the event aims to become the flagship yearly event for creatives of all disciplines to come together in Brighton, and provides a brilliant opportunity for creatives to come together and meet other artists, musicians, writers, theatre makers, dancers and creatives of all disciplines living and working in Brighton.
