Brighton-born composer and founder of the renowned Whispering Woods outdoor choir, Rebecca Askew, in collaboration with international composer Jeremy Avis, proudly announces their upcoming singing event in Brussels from May 9-12, 2024.
Known for their Hidden Gems weekends, Askew and Avis have been orchestrating these unique singing experiences since 2019, attracting amateur singers from around the world. The immersive events take place in different European cities over several days, offering participants the opportunity to explore and experience a city through music.
The Hidden Gems events are more than just singing trips; they are a celebration of culture, community, and creativity. The repertoire of songs taught during these events is inspired by the local surroundings, providing participants with a unique and unforgettable musical journey.
Askew and Avis pride themselves on composing fresh pieces dedicated to each visited city.
