Chemical Mist Did Not Deter Brighton Beach Goers

After Birling Gap beach was evacuated on Sunday due to an unknown gas, thousands of people came to Brighton beach yesterday for bank holiday Monday.

According to the BBC about 150 people were treated in hospital for difficulty breathing, stinging eyes and vomiting and many more were affected along the East Sussex Coast.

MP’s are wanting an investigation into the mysterious mist that appeared Sunday afternoon.

On Monday which was one of the hottest August Bank Holidays for years Sussex police declared that the chemical haze appeared to have cleared from the coast which registered at about 26C.
