Leaders and political groups in Sussex have united to condemn the violence that erupted nationwide following fatal stabbings in Southport last week, declaring that “rioters are not welcome.” Brighton and Hove City Council leader Bella Sankey expressed support and solidarity with all communities in the city, stating it was “sickening and shocking” to witness the recent violence in other parts of the UK.
Sankey emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and unity, reaffirming the city’s commitment to safety and harmony for all residents.
