The Brighton Centre is thrilled to announce that internationally renowned stand-up comedian Jim Jefferies will bring his critically acclaimed Son of a… tour to Brighton.
Known for his sharp wit, provocative humour, and brutally honest observational comedy, Jim Jefferies has built a global following through his hit Netflix specials, sold-out international tours, and popular late-night show The Jim Jefferies Show. His latest tour continues to showcase his unique take on politics, culture, and the absurdities of everyday life, earning rave reviews from audiences worldwide.
Brighton audiences will now have the chance to experience Jefferies’ signature brand of comedy live on stage. The show promises an evening filled with laughter, sharp commentary, and the kind of fearless humour that has made Jim Jefferies one of the most sought-after comedians in the world.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Jim Jefferies has become a powerhouse in the world of stand-up comedy. His brutally honest routines tackle everything from politics and religion to relationships and modern life, often courting controversy but always sparking conversation. With numerous Netflix specials, international awards, and a loyal global fanbase, Jefferies continues to push boundaries and redefine what stand-up comedy can be.
The comedian has released a total of ten stand-up specials since Contraband in 2008, including his most recent 2023 special High & Dry on Netflix, his 5th special for the streaming service. In the special, newly married and loving life with his wife and kids, Jefferies sounds off on the laziness of koala bears, the injustices of male pattern baldness and the reason why he’ll never drink again.
