Beloved festive classic returns to the big screen with live orchestra at Brighton Centre, Sunday 13 December 2026
Brighton, UK — Disney’s much-loved festive favourite The Muppet Christmas Carol will be screened in full at the Brighton Centre on Sunday 13 December 2026, accompanied by a live orchestra performing Miles Goodall’s original score in sync with the film.
Presented by leading live entertainment promoter Senbla, the live-to-film concert experience invites audiences of all ages to rediscover the 1992 cult classic in a uniquely festive setting, with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and the rest of the Muppets joining Michael Caine’s Ebenezer Scrooge on the big screen as the orchestra brings songs including Scrooge, One More Sleep ‘Til Christmas, Marley and Marley, It Feels Like Christmas and Thankful Heart to life.
The Henson-Disney production, adapted from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, has become a generational favourite since its release more than three decades ago, beloved equally by the families who first watched it in the 1990s and the children watching it for the first time today. The live orchestral performance adds a new dimension to a film that already commands enormous nostalgic affection — the kind of communal Christmas experience that has become a December tradition in cities across the UK.
Tickets from £38.95 go on sale Friday 24 April 2026 at 10am via www.brightoncentre.co.uk. Demand is expected to be strong; previous live-to-film concerts in the Muppet Christmas Carol series have sold out venues across the country.
