The hunt is still on to find two men wanted for alleged firearms and drugs offences in Brighton and Hove, as two other men are sentenced for their roles in the case.
Police are appealing to the public once again to help find two men, who are seen in the above picture, named Orges Dema (left) and Olsi Fizzlaj (right). Both men aged 20, are both wanted for alleged conspiracy to supply cocaine and possession of a stun gun.
With a co-ordinated intelligence-led operation by the South East Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) and detectives from Sussex Police resulting in Dema and Fizzlai’s arrest in Brighton in December 2016 , this case is being treated as serious.
However, after being released on bail pending further investigations, both men failed to attend their bail hearing in February 2017. Subsequently, the CPS have given the authority for Dema and Fizzlaj to be charged upon them being found and arrested.
This renewed appeal coincides with the news that two other men involved in this case were both sentenced to a total of three years imprisonment at Hove Crown Court on 19 July, for their role in conspiring to supply cocaine and for possession of a prohibited weapon, a stun gun.
Pictured below, Aris Dema (left), aged 28 and unemployed from Albany Villas Hove, and Edjol Cani (right), aged 23 and a car valeter of Church Street Brighton, both pleaded guilty to the offences.

Detective Chief Superintendent Jason Tingley of Surrey and Sussex Crime Operations said: “This is another example of successful combined work by law enforcement agencies to disrupt serious and organised criminality. Often this work is unseen, involving many months of patient and covert surveillance and intelligence-gathering activity, so that we can have the right information to act at the right moment.”
Meanwhile, in an attempt to appeal to anyone who might have any information regarding the whereabouts of the two missing men Orges Dema and Olsi Fizzlaj, the police have provided us with a detailed description of both men:
Both men are dark skinned and of Albanian descent.
Orges Dema is described as “of slim to medium build, with short hair and brown eyes”. Police have said he was also last known to be living in the Regency Square, Brighton.
Olsi Fizzlaj, also nicknamed ‘slim’ is described as “tall, of a slim build, with short mousy brown hair and brown eyes”. Police have stated he was last known to have been living in Hangleton Way, Hove.
Detective Constable Simon Cheetham of SEROCU adds: “Enquiries with our partner agencies suggest that Orges Dema has returned to Albania, but that Olsi Fizzlaj has not and I am keen to hear from anyone who can assist us to locate either or both of these men.”
If you have any information about the two missing men, Police are urging that you immediately contact them either directly online or by calling 101 and quoting Operation Ironside.
If you would like to remain anonymous, alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Detective Chief Superintendent Tingley added: “The public can help. If you have any information or suspicions about drug dealing where you live or work, please let us know by reporting online.”
