Following two incredibly successful years, Funk the Family is back at Hove Park for another amazing line-up! Not only that, but they have also added another day for adults only called Funk the Format!

Funk The Family is Brighton and Hove’s biggest family day out ‘with the focus on lots of children’s entertainment and activities, a great line up of live music, bars and fabulous food’. Funk The Format, however, is an adult only affair with the focus firmly on the music stage which is playing host to some incredible cherry-picked bands and DJs as well as a wonderful array of bars and food stalls. Taking place during the Brighton Fringe, Funk The Family and Funk The Format will be incredible events. Last year 4,500 people attended the nine hour event and for 2016 twice as many day tickets will be available and they are offering discount on weekend tickets, for those lucky enough to organise a babysitter.

Hosting the likes of Soul II Soul, Vula (the voice of Basement Jaxx) and King Porter Stomp as well as many more incredible artists, this is a weekend that you simply cannot miss. Not only that but there will be a vast array of food, from Indian to Mexican as well as vegan and gluten-free options. During Funk The Family there will be a number of fun things for you and your children to do including taking part in music workshops or archery lessons, watching Clown Zaz, Punch & Judy as well as ‘Soul Dome 360 Cinema’. There is something for everyone throughout the weekend, all in the backdrop of the gorgeous Hove Park. You can buy tickets here.
