Local Brightonian Sam Heath (aka Samsam Bubbleman) has an unusual career – an expert in soap bubbles! “Originally a hobby, i became a professional ‘Bubbleologist’ in 2000 when I opened a market stall on London’s Portabello Road.I’d been working as a musician Lll then (Samsam Bongoman) but I wanted more of a career… and found it in bubbles! I grew to have stalls at Camden and Spitalfields markets too.”
“People started calling me ‘Samsam Bubbleman’ and inviLng me to entertain at their parLes. In 2006 a PR company approached me to aRempt the Guinness World Record for the Most People inside a Giant Bubble at the re-opening of Chessington World of Adventures ‘Professor Burps Bubbleworks.“
“I jumped at the chance and successfully put 19 people in a bubble! Within another 3 weeks I broke my second world record on BBC’s Blue Peter for the Most Bubbles in a Bubble and that was it! I was on the map!”
Jump forward to 2025 and Samsam has now broken an astonishing 12 Guinness records, and travelled the world performing for the likes of King Charles – even Lady Gaga! His Brighton based bubble business – Bubble Inc – employs a team of people both entertaining with bubbles, and selling the worlds’ best bubble toys.
And to celebrate his 25 year career of bubble making, he’s pu_ng on his record breaking Giant Bubble Show at Brightons’ Ironworks Studios this December.
