Junior Brother @ The Brunswick Cellar Bar, Monday 12th August
Junior Brother is an experimental alternative folk singer and songwriter from Co. Kerry, Ireland. Taking musical inspiration from his rural Irish upbringing, the artist’s accompaniments include an idiosyncratic guitar and foot tambourine. Studying English at University College Cork developed Junior Brother’s uniquely poetic and profound narrative voice. Swing by the Brunswick Cellar Bar to catch his humorous and heady tunes.

The Amazing Tiger Band @ Back Beat Bar, Tuesday 13th August
Reading-based artist, The Amazing Tiger Band, blends psych, soul, indie, reggae and hip-hop with his classic grooves and witty lyricism. The highly innovative artist describes his performance as one “for the anarchically inclined.” Fans of Scroobius Pip, Jimi Hendrix and Gorillaz will not be disappointed by The Amazing Tiger Band’s unique sound and innovative looping.

Germein @ Latest Music Bar, Wednesday 14th August
Sister trio Georgia (guitar, keys), Ella (bass, electric cello), and Clara Germein (drums) grew up together in South Australia, and have been finding international success through their unique indie rock sound and signature harmonies. Their energy and style has led the band to tour alongside Phil Collins, Little Mix and Jess Glyne, to name a few. Germein’s live performance at the Latest Music Bar promises to be nothing short of mesmerising.

The Jones Street Boys @ Idle Hands, Thursday 15th August
Head to Idle Hands this Thursday for a night of punk swing madness with The Jones Street Boys. The infamous Grunge O’ Billy four will take you on a music tour from Ellington to Waites, from Hank Williams to Nirvana and Chet Baker. Expect a mash-up of the finest music in an intimate setting. It is one not to miss.

Normanton Street @ Brighton Unitarian Church, Friday 16th August
Normanton Street are returning to perform in their adopted hometown of Brighton following their incredible success across the U.K., Europe and the States. Childhood friends Ned and Nicholson (both on bass, guitar, and vocals) discovered Phoebe (vocals) after a jam at a local bar, and the group have been going strong ever since. The soul and hip hop group will be playing some new music as well as fan favourites at the unique setting of Brighton Unitarian Church this Friday.

Chapter 13 @ Patterns, Saturday 17th August
This foursome met whilst performing in London’s West End musical, School of Rock. Now coming together as the band ‘Chapter 13’, these teenage talents have found success since storming the auditions for Britain’s Got Talent 2019, claiming the last golden buzzer of the series. Catch them at Patterns this Saturday as they continue their UK-wide “The Castaway Tour.”

Sofia Edevane @ Hobgoblin Music Brighton, Sunday 18th August
Sofia Edevane is a Portuguese pop and soul singer-songwriter currently based in Brighton. Sofia’s musical background as a classical pianist has led her to headline venues varying from local pubs to Buckingham Palace. Her influences include Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone and Alicia Keys, and she includes some Portuguese and Brazilian songs in her wide repertoire of covers and originals.
