Brighton never fails to provide a great selection of music all week long. There are so many amazing gigs on this week, so make sure you don’t miss out. There are a range of different genres to fit everyone’s taste, so check out this week’s line-up here!


Monday, 4th November

Deerhunter @ Concorde 2

Deerhunter is an American indie rock band, performing for you in Brighton today! Inspired by a mutual love of the game, ‘Deer Hunter’, the band formed in 2001 and have been doing well ever since. They released another album this year, ‘Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?’, so you can look forward to hearing their new songs as well as old.

Tuesday 5th November

Marina @ The Brighton Centre

Marina is in Brighton this week, so do not miss her! It’s hard not to dance every time you hear her constant catchy tunes and distinct voice. Her album, ‘Love + Fear’, which she released in April is already very popular. She has emerged as Marina without her diamonds, creating a new musical era for herself.

Wednesday 6th November

Little Comets @ Chalk

If you want a boost midweek, Little Comets can definitely do this for you. Their music is mostly upbeat and feel good, so they won’t fail to lift your spirits. If you were ever into Vampire Weekend or The Wombats, then you will also love this indie rock band. Songs like ‘Bridge Burn’ just make you want to dance, so look forward to a night of fun.

Thursday 7th November

Happy Mondays @ Brighton Dome

Get your bucket hats out because Happy Mondays are in Brighton!  This is no tribute band, this is the classic line up of Shaun Ryder, Bez, Rowetta, Gary Whelan, Paul Ryder, Mark Day and Dan Broad. So you can expect all the best hits and a lot of maraca shaking from Bez. This is a chance to travel back to a time of bright baggy clothing and absolute anthems like ‘Step on’.

Friday 8th November

Loyle Carner @ Brighton Dome

You’ll be pleased to know that Loyle Carner is in Brighton on Friday. He has become so popular over the years, with his chilled tracks and talent for lyric writing. He’ll be here celebrating his second album, ‘Not Waving, but Drowning’, which was released in April. The British hip-hop artist is very down to earth and his music can only show this. So, book your tickets soon to have a night of Carner’s poetic rapping and smooth melodies.

Saturday, 9th November

Maribou State DJ Set @ Concorde 2

Maribou State are an English electronic duo, who can never fail to create an exciting atmosphere to dance to. It is the kind of music which creates an all round immersive ambience, as everyone responds to their surreal mixes. It’s the perfect Saturday night gig, going on into the early hours, so don’t miss it!

Sunday 10th November

L Devine @ Chalk

To polish off our week, L Devine will be performing at Chalk for us. The English singer song writer brings new upbeat pop tracks to the table. She manages to encapsulate everything we loved about the pop princesses of the early 2000s, while somehow remaining relevant to the music taste of 2019. If you love pop and are after some feel good, catchy music, this is the gig for you.
