Dipper Malkin @ The Rose Hill, Tuesday 7th May
Dipper Malkin are earning themselves a reputation for ‘elevating traditional music to new heights of sturdy beauty and sophistication’. Their debut album ‘Tricks of the Trade‘, was included in The Times ‘Top 100 Albums’. They are currently working towards the release of their second album.

Michael Ball @ The Brighton Centre, Wednesday 8th May
Multi-platinum recording artist and national treasure Michael Ball is performing in Brighton as part of his a 21-date U.K. tour. The tour is supporting his forthcoming studio album ‘Coming Home To You.’

Sean Gibbs Quartet @ The Verdict, Saturday 11th May
Trumpet playing and composer, Sean Gibbs, will be leading a new quintet at The Verdict this Saturday. Made of top players from the London jazz scene, the performers will be playing Sean’s original music, which is characterised by ‘lyrical melodies, strong grooves and a deep connection to the blues.’

Matthew and The Atlas @ Patterns, Sunday 12th May
If you don’t already know, ‘Matthew and The Atlas‘ are a British folk-rock group ‘whose music walks a line between acoustic traditionalism and a contemporary embrace of electronics’. They are performing at Patterns as part of their world tour.
