Glynebourne gala for homelessness charity

Glyndebourne Opera House is hosting a gala to raise money for homelessness charity HOMELINK. The event with take place on 17th November with presenters including Eddie Izzard, Steve Coogan and Zoe Lyons.

The charity gala will include soloists, groups, choirs and dance. Acts range from Glyndebourne soprano Dame Felicity Lott to Brighton’s ‘Choir With No Name’. All performers are giving up their free time to volunteer for the charity, and the opera house has donated the venue for the event.

HOMELINK is a charity based in Lewes that has been supporting homeless people for more than 20 years. If you want to find out more information about the important work that they do, click here.

Although the event is next month, buying a ticket now is an excellent way to support World Homeless Day. This day takes place every year on the 10th October, and has done every since 2010. It’s aim is to make local communities aware of homeless people’s needs.
