Starring Christopher Ryan Grant (Million Dollar Quartet) as Johnny Cash and Christina Bianco (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz) as June Carter Cash, the production features a live band and powerhouse performances that capture the passion, humour and resilience of one of music’s most iconic couples.
Directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys, The Who’s Tommy and Ain’t Too Proud), The Ballad of Johnny and June is told through the eyes of the couple’s only son, John Carter Cash, offering an intimate look at their extraordinary lives and enduring legacy.
