Award-winning stand-up, podcaster and author, Kai Humphries, is set to embark on his first solo tour of the UK with his new show Gallivanting. Kai’s infectious enthusiasm, upbeat material has won him a fan base around the world, where he has been opening for Daniel Sloss (in 55 countries), playing massive theatres and arenas all over the planet as well as touring his own solo shows in Australia and Europe as well as an off-Broadway run in New York. His show comes to Komedia on the 19th of October.
With no trigger warnings required, Kai has travelled the world doing what he loves, making people laugh with his extremely funny and uplifting world-class stand-up,. Gallivanting is packed with hilarious stories from his global adventures and the people he has met along the way. See the world through the eyes of a working-class lad who grew up in a small town as he immerses himself in other cultures, gets himself in and out of trouble and tries to find the balance between the responsibilities that inevitably come with getting older vs his thirst for travel and adventure.
Co-star of the brilliantly funny ‘Sloss and Humphries on the Road’ podcast as well as a regular guest on the smash-hits ‘Have A Word’ and ‘Hot Water’s Green Room’, this is Kai’s 10th solo show despite it being his first extensive UK tour. It’s finally time for the brilliantly funny and upbeat Geordie stand-up to go Gallivanting all around the UK.
