Best restaurants Brighton Lanes searches often lead to one name — and now Lost in the Lanes is preparing for a major relaunch.
The popular North Laine restaurant will close briefly before reopening with a completely redesigned front space, a new cocktail lounge and a fresh seasonal menu. And before it closes, there’s a 50% off food offer not to miss.
What’s Changing at Lost in the Lanes
Located at 10 Nile Street in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine, Lost in the Lanes has built a strong local following for its relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menus and consistently good food — from beautiful breakfasts and speciality coffee through to award-winning lunch and dinner.
Now, the venue is entering a new phase.
The front of the restaurant is being redesigned by local architects Stickland Wright to create a more intimate, lounge-style setting. The update will introduce soft leather banquettes, warm lighting and a window-facing seating area designed for a more social, relaxed experience.
The concept leans towards a more bohemian, Mediterranean-inspired feel — bringing a sense of laid-back coastal dining into the best restaurants Brighton Lanes neighbourhood has to offer.
Introducing the Lost Lounge
A key part of the relaunch is the introduction of the Lost Lounge — a new cocktail-led space at the front of the restaurant.
Designed as a place to spend time rather than simply pass through, the lounge will focus on drinks, small plates and atmosphere. Abyss will be available on tap, alongside a new cocktail menu built around contemporary classics and a refreshed wine list designed for easy, social drinking.
A New Seasonal Menu
Alongside the redesign, Lost in the Lanes will launch a new seasonal menu. The focus is expected to remain on fresh, simple dishes with a strong emphasis on Sussex produce and quality ingredients — the hallmarks that have made it one of the best restaurants Brighton Lanes has to offer.
A full review of the new menu will follow after the relaunch.
Bottomless Brunch — Still Going Strong
Lost in the Lanes is also well known for its daily Bottomless Brunch — unlimited mimosas, bellinis or fizz from 10am–3pm at £40 per person, available every day. Worth knowing for your next visit.
