A man has been airlifted to hospital after being found floating in the water.
The man, who was found just out off Hove beach, is reported to have been taken to the Royal Sussex Count Hospital. The coastguard rescued the man just before 11 o’clock this morning.
Shoreham Coastguard Rescue Team performed the rescue with help from Sussex Police and the other emergency services.
The casualty and their condition is as yet unknown.
