The amazing charity Martlets are yet again set to light up Brighton this Autumn! They had their fantastic Snowdogs by the Sea in 2016, which saw the charity raise £310,000, and over £10 million for the local economy. Following this unprecedented success, they recently unveiled their latest attraction.

Martlets will have 50 snail sculptures, which will be scattered around the city. Local businesses can sponsor them. Martlets believe that it will be the biggest visitor attraction this year.

If you’re enticed by the sound of the snail sculptures, now is your chance to become truly immersed in the campaign!

Martlets are seeking snailway guides to aid visitors in experiencing the vast range of sculptures! They want volunteers who will be happy to work a minimum of one 4-hour shift a week.

Martlets’ Snowdogs campaign was hugely popular!

Alongside helping visitors walk along the snailway, volunteers will be able to attend Snailway events, such as the Snailway Launch, Safari and Farewell events!

Martlets promise that there will be rich rewards for volunteers, who can immerse themselves in the city, show off their people skills while meeting a range of interesting people and having a great time seeing the wonderful sculptures!

They are looking for charming, charismatic people with a strong knowledge of Brighton, who can bare long walks in the unpredictable British weather!

You will get training, a uniform and tea and coffee to keep you warm! Also, for those needing to travel, expenses may be covered!

So, if you are interested, apply here, and get down to the introductory session from 6pm-8pm on Thursday 9 August. Those successful in their applications will attend a two-hour training event.
