Legendary musician and Ultravox frontman Midge Ure will perform at Brighton Dome on 23 November 2026 as part of his visionary new A Man of Two Worlds Tour.
The tour launches alongside Ure’s highly anticipated new album A Man of Two Worlds, released on 8 May 2026, marking his first collection of new material in more than a decade.
Due to strong demand following the initial May and June run of dates, additional shows have now been announced for November 2026, including the Brighton performance.
Rather than delivering a traditional greatest-hits show, Ure has designed A Man of Two Worlds as an immersive live experience, blending classic tracks and fan favourites with cinematic instrumental compositions to create a continuous musical journey through his remarkable career.
The accompanying double album reflects this concept, featuring eight instrumental pieces and eight vocal songs, showcasing two distinct sides of Ure’s musical identity.
Speaking about the project, Ure said:
“Almost every album I’ve made over the past 40+ years has featured at least one instrumental track. For this album I wanted to explore that further, showing two sides of what I do. The Man Of Two Worlds Tour reflects this idea, combining instrumentals I’ve written over the years with songs, album tracks and fan favourites side by side, taking the audience on a journey.”
The tour follows a remarkable period for Ure, including a sold-out 70th birthday celebration at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2023 and a major UK tour in 2024.
Few artists can match his influence across decades of music. From his early success with Slik, through the punk-era project The Rich Kids, to shaping the sound of the 1980s with Ultravox and Visage, Ure has consistently been at the forefront of musical innovation.
Beyond his recording career, Ure played a pivotal role in one of the most significant moments in modern music history. He co-wrote and produced the charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, which led to the global phenomenon Live Aid.
With Ivor Novello, Grammy and BASCAP awards, as well as numerous gold and platinum records, Ure’s legacy continues to evolve — and A Man of Two Worlds promises to be one of his most personal projects yet.
