The team behind organising the successful Brighton and Hove Triathlon have launched Brighton’s newest event – Brighton Music Run.
Entries for Brighton’s very first musical 5k have now opened and locals are being encouraged to run, dance, walk to the beat at the inaugural event.
The untimed race is all about inspiring people to get active in a fun and relaxed environment. Combining two of Brighton’s biggest loves – music and running, the course will envelope a variety of musical genres and talents.
Taking place on Saturday 19 May on Madeira Drive, Brighton, all participants will receive a race tee and medal upon completion. Take part with friends and family and move your feet to the beat.
Get creative and embrace the Brighton spirit by dressing up as your favourite musical icon! The best dressed will win prizes, so it’s all to play for. It’s time to rock and run!
John Lunt, Brighton and Hove Triathlon Event Director, commented: ‘Our ethos is all about getting people active whilst having fun and Brighton Music Run offers just that. It’s always exciting launching a new event and we hope you’ll bring your friends and family down to Brighton seafront for the loudest 5k the city’s seen.’
Entries start at £18 and are available at www.brightonmusicrun.com.
If you don’t fancy making the effort alone, then you can take part as a team – it’s more fun with friends and family! Move your feet to the beat and take part together. Add 4 or more entries to your basket and automatically receive an £8 discount.
