A new experiences marketplace, Yuup, has launched in Brighton & Hove, helping independent makers, creatives, and businesses sell their experiences more easily. The platform connects local people to unique, in-person activities that are often hard to find. Since its 2021 launch in Bristol, Yuup has expanded to Bath, the West Midlands, Cardiff, and Nottingham, building a community of nearly 600 hosts. Focusing on social impact and accessibility, Yuup has generated over £6 million in earnings for experience hosts.
Brighton & Hove feels like a natural next step in continuing this success. It will bring a new tool to help consumers easily access the wide variety of experiences on offer while providing independent hosts with the technology, business support, and audience exposure usually reserved for bigger players.
Dominic Mills, Yuup’s founder and CEO, says: “We have a clear purpose in mind – to create a positive social impact by providing experience hosts with a way to reach new audiences and enhance their income.”
“We believe that experiences offer a fantastic opportunity for local enterprises to grow and diversify and our platform can help unlock that potential. We’re hugely excited to now offer that same opportunity to passionate individuals in Brighton & Hove.”
Brandon Mojica, Co-founder Happy Hooves Yoga, says: “Working with Yuup has been an amazing experience. Their mission to support local businesses is not just admirable, it’s inspiring. The dedication and passion they put in behind the scenes is clearly reflected in the impact they make! We are so confident that they will give us a huge helping hand in sharing our Goat Yoga experience with everyone!”
