A recent survey by vehicle innovators at Kia finds that the average person is willing to travel 204 miles to catch their favourite act perform this summer. However, Liam Gallaghers fans are willing to travel even further (259 miles) to see him, with the duo together likely breaking even further records.
Looking at an age split, almost a nearly one-tenth of Gen Z (16–24-year-olds) responded that Liam Gallagher is the artist they would most like to see this year. Liam Gallagher also ranks the highest among 35–44-year-olds (9.4%), but ranks considerably lower for millennials (5.2%), proving not everyone will be ready to splash the cash for the Oasis reunion.
Brighton also ranks Liam as the artist they’d most like to see (10.2%), alongside his hometown Manchester (9%). When it comes to watching live music, it turns out that superfans who are willing to trek hundreds of miles for their favourite artists consider the journey just as memorable as the performance. Nearly half of respondents (48%) consider the trip to a gig a large part of the concert experience, with over a third (35%) revealing that they love travelling for a concert.
