So, you may or may not know of the Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw but Topman sure do! He has collaborated with the company to create his very own range of key pieces. Inspired by his dog ‘Pig’ and his love of good old London Town. We are lucky enough in Brighton to have one of the countries flag ship Topshop/Topman stores so we got a inside scoop to the collection.
It’s bold prints and block colours show how it is possible to be smart at a meeting one moment and within the same hour add the black and white striped jumper within the collection and instantly be casual and ready for a night out with friends. But, sadly ladies Nick and Topman have not created a range for us but Gentlemen get ready to look utterly chic!
Each pieces main features are black and white but each one is splashed with its very own lashing of gold. Inspired, I think, by the twinkling lights of his home (London).
The lovely personal shopper Liv guided around the collection and its key pieces. She is a fashion graduate and definitely knows how each figure should dress. She helped Fashion Lover, Jordan Bradley pick pieces that not only suited him but his personality. Something in keeping with his style and wardrobe.
Overall this collection is super workable and reusable. Not a one time outfit, it’s so mouldable and Liv demonstrated my personal favourite piece in the collection. The paint dripped black and white shirt. Showing us that women can wear whatever they want to!
