That Brighton is a thriving place for musicians and singers of all sorts definitely isn’t a big secret, but now it is official! If you’re a musician, Brighton is the place for you to be!
A study conducted in fifty big towns and cities in Great Britain, based on music venues, upcoming gigs, studios, teachers and music shops, has revealed that Brighton is top of the list of the UK’s best cities for musicians, only beaten by Manchester.
Although second best in the overall rating, Brighton and Hove is unbeaten when it comes to music venues per capita although several venues have closed in recent years. With 305 upcoming gigs in the next 30 days, the city also has got the highest ratio per person in this category!
