On Saturday 3rd of March, just after 6pm, a violent incident involving a stabbing occurred outside Waitrose supermarket in Eastgate street, Lewes.
The incident resulted in one youth being stabbed and two others sustaining minor injuries. Around 20 young people had gathered outside the supermarket when the incident happened.
The boy who was stabbed in his leg with a knife was 16 years old. After receiving treatment he was allowed home.
The other two boys who sustained injuries were locals, aged 15 and 16.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses who might have information about the event. Those investigating believe that three boys, aged between 14 and 16 (all originally from Brighton) may be responsible for the incident.
