A 70-year-old woman has been charged with murder following a fatal incident at a residence on Lavender Street in the Brighton area on Monday evening.
Emergency personnel responded to the home shortly after 7:30 pm after reports of a domestic dispute. Despite efforts by paramedics, 70-year-old Andrew Rowland-Stuart was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect, identified as Joanna Rowland-Stuart, was arrested at the residence. After further investigation, she was formally charged with murder in the death of her husband Andrew Rowland-Stuart.
Sussex Police released a photograph of the victim with consent from his next of kin. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Rowland-Stuart’s death is ongoing.
