Sussex Police yesterday released CCTV images of three suspects sought in connection with a homophobic related assault in Brighton.
The assault occurred at Seaside Kebabs in Kings Road, Brighton at roughly 4:30am on Thursday 7 June. The three suspects (all picture above), are reported to have made derogatory comments about homosexuality, before a verbal altercation ensued with at least two other customers, who were subsequently assaulted.
One of the victims is a 21-year-old man from Suffolk who sustained a fractured jaw and a laceration to his face which required stitches. The other victim is a 22-year-old man from Gloucestershire who sustained minor facial injuries.
The suspects have been described as three Asian men and it is believed they may be from London.
However, initial enquiries have not led to the any of the men being identified, so Police are now circulating these CCTV images in hope to appeal to the anyone who may recognise them.
In seeking assistance from the public in identifying the three suspects, Sussex Police stated: “If you recognise the suspects or saw what happened, please report it online or call 101, quoting serial 146 of 07/06.”
The force added: “If you think you’ve been the victim of a homophobic incident, you can see our help and advice page here.”
