Sussex Police consistently perform their duties admirably, however they often need your help. See if you can provide any information on the following incidents over the last few days.

Police today issued a plea for any information regarding a collision between two lorries on the A27 near Lewes. The crash, which blocked much of the road on Monday 11th July, happened near Firle between a yellow Volvo 320 truck and a white Isuzu Easy Shift. The driver of the former vehicle, a 27-year-old man, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton while the driver and passenger in the Isuzu, 41 and 56 respectively, had their wounds treated at the scene.

Sussex Police also asked the public today for any information regarding the whereabouts of a missing woman and a wanted man. Charlotte Leskos, 19, was reported missing by her family while the man, 20-year-old Vekim Sokoli, has been wanted in the Essex area since the 16th of June. Brighton is one of his known links and so on the behalf of the authorities in Essex, Brighton and Hove Police are desperate for people to be on the lookout for the pair.

As we reported yesterday, a cyclist was badly injured after a collision with a lorry yesterday in Brighton. Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which took place at the Lewes Road/Elm Grove junction, left the victim with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries. The 27-year-old male cyclist was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital while the lorry driver, a 47-year-old man, escaped unharmed but was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs. Police are imploring bystanders or those with access to CCTV to step forward in order to help piece together the incident.
