Police are seeking witnesses to a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Hove on Friday afternoon last week (12 January).
The incident happened at around 4.35pm on Friday (12 January) at the junction of Richardson Road and the B2066 New Church Road, Hove.
It involved a silver Ford Fiesta car and an 88-year-old man on foot.
The man, from Hove, sustained serious head injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
The car driver, a 31-year-old man also from Hove, was unhurt.
