RAF Town Show Brighton 2026 arrives on the seafront this April — and it brings something genuinely different to the city’s events calendar.
Taking place from 10–12 April 2026, the free event will be held beside the Brighton i360, offering visitors a rare opportunity to explore military aircraft, meet RAF personnel and experience the technology behind one of the UK’s most advanced organisations.
A Rare Opportunity on Brighton Seafront
At the centre of the RAF Town Show Brighton 2026 will be a Chinook aircraft replica, landing directly on the seafront as part of the RAF’s nationwide roadshow.
Visitors will be able to step inside, interact with displays and speak directly with RAF Regulars and Reservists about careers across a wide range of fields — from engineering and cyber security to intelligence and logistics.
The event coincides with the Brighton Marathon weekend, making it part of a wider programme of activity across the city.
Interactive Experiences and Technology
The RAF Town Show is designed to be immersive. Expect STEM challenges showcasing RAF innovation, mixed-reality experiences, live demonstrations of technology and equipment, and insights into RAF sports and training programmes.
From aviation to cyber operations, the event highlights the breadth of modern RAF careers and the role of technology in shaping its future.
Brighton’s Aviation Connection
Brighton and the surrounding Sussex area have a strong aviation history. Nearby RAF Tangmere played a key role during the Battle of Britain, defending the south coast — a legacy that continues to shape the RAF’s presence in the region today.
Bringing the Town Show to Brighton reflects that connection, linking past and present in a setting that remains central to the UK’s coastal defence history.
